CORE 2021 – Conference on Railway Excellence
Insitu Test are excited to exhibit at this years CORE2021, Conference on Railway Excellence.
Huge investment in rail infrastructure is being made across the country and we are privileged to be involved in many of these projects including Inland Rail, Cross River Rail and Level Crossing Removal. Locally, WA is investing in rail more than ever before making it a greener, safer and more efficient type of transport, both in Perth and in the Pilbara.
Insitu Test’s field test equipment is used for bulk earthworks and railway formation and trackbeds, covering ballast condition assessment, soil investigation and characterisation, geotechnical drilling and compaction control.
Our equipment is used for new rail track construction, maintenance / remediation and asset management purposes and enables better field-testing outcomes compared to the current traditional methods (faster, more accurate, more representative, providing better insight, without errors, immediate GPS located results that are visually presented, more cost effective etc).
During the 2 day conference, learn about the latest trends and developments in technology, safety, track maintenance and infrastructure construction in the rail industry.

CORE2021 is organised by the Railway Technical Society of Australasia (RTSA).
The PANDA probe is giving us and the construction team very useful insight with immediate feedback on the compaction being achieved on a major new rail construction project in QLD. We have two teams working daily using PANDA DCP’s and the Automatic Hammer on the rail formation, enabling real time decision making with confidence, based on the highly repeatable results.
I felt the training was very thorough. If anyone doesn’t know how to use a PANDA after that session, they shouldn’t be using one at all.
We are using the PANDITO DCP for Level 1 site supervision, it’s very portable and we find it handy for flying into sites.
